The founders of Fortivex spent years working within management and consulting — executing engagements, advising clients, and navigating the full complexity of government and enterprise work. The experience was formative. It also made one thing impossible to ignore: the market was full of firms that were either too large to care about individual client outcomes, too narrowly specialized to offer real breadth, or too disconnected from execution to deliver on the strategies they were selling.
At the same time, they watched small businesses — companies with genuine capability and real value — struggle to access the federal marketplace that should have been open to them. Not because they lacked quality. Because they lacked a connection. A credible advocate. A bridge.
